Committee decided 15 November 2021 as deadline to complete Sole proprietorship Act Amendment bill. It was also decided to meet with Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economic Development, Maldives Inland Revenue Authority, Bank of Maldives, Maldives Association for Construction Industries, Guesthouse Association and SME & Entrepreneur Federation of Maldives to get comments regarding the bill. In addition the committee also decided to open for public comments. After that Committee decided to extend deadline to complete committee works of National Chamber of Commerce and Industries bill to 15 November 2021. And also Committee discussed on Situation Assessment Report sent by the Ministry of Economic Development regarding the Development of Unemployment Insurance Benefit Program for the Maldives. And decided to inquire further on some of the issues highlighted in the report.
