North Thinadhoo constituency member Abdul Mughnee was elected as chairperson of the committee and North Fuvahmulah constituency member Mohamed Rasheed as vice chairperson. Committee decided to gather information regarding the issue from Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture, Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of National Planning, Housing and infrastructure, Local Government Authority and Agro National Corporation.
