During the meeting, the Committee reviewed the information requested for clarification. Committee decided to clarify more about Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture’s decision to withdraw B.Maddoo from the islands opened for lease for agricultural purposes Under Article 11 (a) of the Maldives Uninhabited Islands Act, and also seek information regarding the leased uninhabited islands (Varvaa islands) by the Ministry.
