In today's meeting, committee discussed about the Resolution calling for solutions to the difficulties faced by women councilors and members of women's development committees in carrying out their responsibilities. In this regard, it was decided to make a decision on the Resolution after discussing the matter with the Chair of the Human Rights and Gender Committee. Moreover, Committee reviewed the pending issues and decided to send a letter to Local Government Authority to inquire about the issues. Then, the committee decided that the issue sent by Kudafaree Council is not within the committee's jurisdiction.
