In this meeting, the Committee discussed the Issue submitted by Hon. Mohamed Saeed, MP for Maavashu Constituency, calling on the Government to rectify issues faced in obtaining medical services from the L. Gan Regional Hospital. The Committee decided to meet with the Laamu Atoll Council, the island councils of L. Gan, L. Maavah, L. Kunahandhoo and L. Hithadhoo, officials of the Regional Hospital and the Ministry of Health to discuss the Issue. Further in this meeting, Hon. Mohamed Shahid, MP for Funadhoo Constituency submitted an Issue to the Committee requesting to identify and rectify the issues in the national social health insurance system and the social security system. The Committee decided to meet with officials of the National Social Protection Agency and Aasandha Company Ltd to discuss this Issue.
