The committee met with management of Maldive Gas Private Limited in regarding the issue of purchase of gas at a premium or higher price than the market rates. The state owned company discussed about the changes in the rates of gas across the globe due to world wide economic downfalls, challenges the company face in regards to find a suitable supplier and about measures the company is taking to overcome those challenges.
