The meeting was held to present a presentation prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development on the Company Bill. In this regard, ministry noted that the current Company Act was a long-standing one, and that a bill had been submitted to address the issues in the laws, regulations and processes regarding companies. Ministry also noted that one of the main changes brought to the bill was the introduction of the single shareholder concept, as well as the inclusion of state-owned and local authority companies in types of companies. The ministry's presentation focused on the fundamental principles of 16 chapters included in the bill. The Ministry also clarified the presentation made by the ministry and the information they wished to inquire further about the company bill.
