The meeting was held as part of the review of the annual reports of the Maldives Customs Services 2021 based on the key performance indicators assigned to the institution. In this meeting a presentation was given by Maldives Customs Services officials highlighting work carried during the year 2021 to manage human capital, to strengthen the institution, to manage facilitation and risk, and to work together on border security and enforcement operations. The Service also clarified the information that members wished to inquire further about the annual reports and presentation given by them. Officials of the Auditor General’s Office also attended the meeting, as the committee decided to allow relevant officials from the Auditor General’s Office to participate in the meeting held to review the annual report of the institution.
