In today’s meeting the committee reviewed the issue submitted by member of parliament for Thimarafushi constituency honorable Abdulla Riyaz regarding the delays in establishment of Th.Funahdoo fish processing factory. Noting Maldives Industrial Fisheries company limited has finance limitations in completing the project, as other administrative works has been done, the committee decided to inform the member the situation of MIFCO along with the possible reason in the delay. Then, the committee reviewed the issue submitted by member of parliament for Maduhvari constituency honorable Adam Shareef regarding the misuse of state resources throughout the election periods. The committee decided not to proceed with the issue as it lacks enough evidence, facts and due to indistinctness of the accused party or individuals. Therefore, committee decided to inform the member to submit the issue along with enough fact and explicit mention of the accused party.
