The first agenda of today's meeting was to take a decision on the issue to summon STO’s management as the company had sent a reply to the letters sent by the committee. The committee decided not to summon STO’s representatives now and to obtain more information regarding the issue proposed regarding a medicine named “CAP E-COD PLUS CAPS”. Next, the committee reviewed the information received regarding MITDC’s issue and decided to share this information with the member who raised the issue and to conclude the issue. The chair then clarified the views of the members regarding committee members visiting abroad to study the efforts being made to improve the governance of state-owned companies in other countries. Hence, the committee's administrative staffs were tasked to study the country that is closest to the existing system in the Maldives and has the best governance of companies.
