The committee discussed on the matter sent by South Machangolhi MP Ahmed Haitham regarding an immediate ban on Israeli citizens from entering the Maldives. By a majority of four out of five present committee members, decided to bring this matter to the President’s attention, as it is the constitutional prerogative vested in the President, citing Article 115, which grants authority over foreign affairs.
