In this meeting, the chairperson and deputy chairperson were appointed amongst the members of the committee. Makunudhoo contituency member Mohamed Raee’s name as the chair of the committee was proposed by Dhiggaru Constituency Member Ikram Hassan and seconded by Milandhoo contituency member Ali Riza. Makunudhoo contituency member Mohamed Raee was unanimously elected as the chair of the committee. Milandhoo contituency member Ali Riza’s name as the vice chair of the committee was proposed by Dhiggaru Constituency Member Ikram Hassan and seconded by Manadhoo contituency member Ahmed Haroon. Milandhoo contituency member Ali Riza was unanimously elected as the vice chair of the committee. After that, the committee to conduct a meeting with Maldives police Service, Ministry of Defense and seniors from Secretariat of People’s Majlis to discuss regarding the issue. The committee continued as a confidential meeting.
