In this meeting, members were asked whether they would like to re-appoint the chairperson and deputy chairperson of the committee, due to the re-composition of the Standing Committees of the People’s Majlis. In this regard, it was decided that the committee would proceed with the current chair and vice-chair. Following this, the committee decided to seek information from Regional Airports Company limited on the issue sent by Hoarafushi MP Ahmed Saleem seeking an inquiry into the matter, stating that the employees were being treated in violation of the rules laid down by the company. Then it was decided to seek information in writing about all the issues that the committee had not started working on the committee's agenda, summon those who did not respond to it to the committee, and meet those who needed to meet after reviewing the information sent by the offices/SOE’s. Then, after discussing the case filed by Fuvahmulah Central MP Hussain Mohamed Didi seeking an inquiry into the issue as Fenaka Corporation was not doing enough to solve the electricity issue in Fuvahmulah,, the committee decided to summon Fenaka Corporation Limited and the Ministry of Climate Change, Environment and Energy to the committee. Subsequently, it was decided to summon MIFCO and the PCB board to the committee as MIFCO’s resources were being used for political purposes
