Committee passed to adopt sub committee report on resolution on promoting local products and business with the recommendations and send committee report to parliament. Recommendation of committee include: 1. To complete Maldives Payment System project carried by Maldives Monetary Authority as early as possible and make use of the system. 2. To formulate National Business-to-business and Business-to-consumer platform by National center of information technology under leadership of Ministry of communication science and technology along with assistance and guidance from ministry of economic development. 3. To modernize posts and parcel delivery regulatory mechanism and create supply chain management mechanism using technology such as "supply chain", "RFID" by NCIT with assistance from Ministry of communication science and technology, Maldives Post Limited and other relevant government authorities. 4. Enact laws required for electronic transactions to facilitate reliable electronic transactions with legal recognition and submit it to parliament.
