Committee decided to extend deadline to complete committee works of minimum wage report sent by Ministry of Economic Development is 17 June 2020 and also to extend deadline to complete committee works of National Chamber of Commerce and Industries Bill is 30 June 2020. Furthermore, committee discussed about letter sent by MP Meekai Ahmed Naseem. Committee decided to get details of all the parties who received assistance from economic relief packages. A sub committee was formed to further evaluate MIRA 2019 annual report. After discussing the open letter sent by Save Maldives Campaign committee decided to request for economic impact assessment report regarding the project highlighted in the letter from relevant authorities. Committee decided not to deliberate on Scenario analysis and economic diversification paper sent by ministry of economic development since it is a working draft. Regarding the letter sent by Hub company private limited, committee decided to inform the company to contact relevant government authority, and to report back to the committee with the relevant documents, and if there is any violation of the rules and procedure followed by the relevant authorities. Committee decided to send a letter to ministry of economic development regarding letter sent by human rights and gender committee to work accordingly as per committee's request and ensure human rights and women rights are ensured while giving assistance through economic relied packages. Committee decided not to further deliberate on letter sent by Human rights commission of the Maldives about their works regarding complaints received from workers during Covid-19 since it was sent for reference only. A sub committee was formed to evaluate letter sent by MP Hussain firushan about the steps that could be taken to minimise effects on family because of the loss of income due to covid-19.
