- Committee met with Human Rights Commission of the Maldives to discuss about their work in the covid-19 situation. - Committee decided to meet Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services regarding their work and challenges. - Committee also decided to meet officials of Health Protection Agency regarding the difficulties faced by people especially people with special needs who come from abroad and are quarantined. - Committee discussed an issue send to the comity by a lawyer regarding a case of torture to a prisoner in Maafushi Prison, and decided to write to Human Rights Commission of the Maldives and Maldives Correctional Service to get more information on the case.
