In today's meeting, following discussions, the Committee decided to forward the Resolution on the importance of a governing body for the removal of grounded vessels submitted by MP for Dhangethi Constituency Mohamed Nazim to the Majlis floor with amendments from the Committee. The Committee also discussed an Issue submitted by MP for Dhiggaru Constituency Ikram Hassan, to assess the state of "information technology, science and communication" sector in the Maldives. The Committee accepted this Issue, and with the majority of voting Members, decided to forward it to a subcommittee of 3 members. MP for Gemanafushi Constituency Ahmed Saeed proposed a motion endorsed by MP for Holhudhoo Constituency Yoonus Ali, to designate the following 3 Members to the subcommittee : 1. MP for Dhiggaru Constituency Ikram Hassan; 2. MP for Kelaa Constituency Ibrahim Shareef; and 3. MP for Kurendhoo Constituency Abdul Ghanee Abdul Hakeem.
