Summary
In today's meeting, the Committee discussed the Maldives Higher Education Bill and passed the following amendments to the Bill with a majority of the votes:
1. To remove subsections 16(d), 16(e), 22(a), 22(b) and 23(d)(6);
2. To insert sections 21, 32 and subsection 23(d)(7);
3. To amend subsection 31(a); and
4. To pass sections 34, 36 and 37.
