Committee had a meeting with the Local Government Authority to discuss the involvement of Parliament Members in the Covid-19 Regional Cell. The Committee decided to assign one member from the committee on Decentralization in the Covid-19 Regional Cell involving all the Atolls and Cities except Male’ City. It was further decided that all the Members of the constituencies in each Atoll will be working with the focal points assigned to each Atoll by Local Government Authority in the Atoll Coordination division of the Regional Cell. It was further decided that the Local Government Authority should propose in the Covid Task Force meeting to make arrangements for the participation of one member from each ward of Male’ City to receive updated information on Male’ City.
