In today's meeting, the Committee appointed its chairperson and deputy chairperson. The Committee unanimously voted to appoint Hon. Ahmed Easa, MP for Kendhikulhudhoo, as its chairperson, and Hon. Hussain Firushan, MP for Madaveli, as its deputy chairperson.
