In this meeting, the Committee met with Judicial Services Commission and the Department of Judicial Administration regarding the issue of the failure of Criminal Court to conduct hearings in a timely manner. In this meeting, the President of the Judicial Service Commission, Member of the Thulhaadhoo Constituency of the parliament presented the 1-year plan to clear the backlogged cases in the Criminal Court.
