A majority of six members voted in favour of the Maldives' participation in the International Association of Marine AIDS to Navigation and Lighthouse Authority (IALA). A majority of seven members voted in favour of the Maldives' participation in the International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO) after reviewing the president's request for parliament's approval.
