Firstly in today's meeting, committee reviewed issue sent to allocate time length and number of chances given to the Members of the Parliament and the time length and number of chances given to defend the Deputy Speaker of People’s Majlis in the debate on the no confidence motion of the Deputy Speaker of People's Majlis. Next, committee members discussed the issue sent to give Committee’s recommendation on the length of the debate of an amendment proposed to the Standing Order of People’s Majlis under clause number 249 (2) of the Standing Order of People's Majlis. Moreover, committee also had a healthy debate on the issue sent to pass the budget report of People’s Majlis Secretariat for the year 2024, that need to be sent to Budget Committee under clause number 212 (6) of Standing Order of People’s Majlis. Lastly, committee also discussed sub-committee's decision regarding the issue sent to revisit committee's decision on members seeking services of VIP lounge of Velanaa International Airport.
